The recent federal convictions of insiders associated with the current governor’s administration, the ongoing federal investigations, and the ethical cloud hanging over the governor are a distraction from the needs of Illinois taxpayers. His incompetence as the governor of Illinois has hurt all Illinois citizens.

It is time for a change.

I hereby call on the Illinois House of Representatives to do its duty to investigation potential legal breaches by the governor – to determine if impeachment is necessary.

While these steps are serious, they are necessary to protect the public trust and allow our elected officials to concentrate on the challenges that face employers and working families in our state.
